CB Hounslow United’s under 14’s were invited to play QPR FC youth Academy & Development in Ark Academy centre in Wembley yesterday evening. CB Hounslow United under 14’s were chosen by QPR’s youth department to give a challenge to there under 14’s and learn how the game works. The CB Hounslow boys were reminded to show respect to their opposition on the pitch but not enough for QPR to over dominate. The game was split over three periods of twenty minutes which allowed the managers to make tactical changes and substitutions. It was QPR who drew first blood after a controversial penalty was awarded for a very light challenge on one of QPR’s strikers. Much of the game was very level between both sides over the first two periods but the third saw CB Hounslow United have that little more quality, Asharn Sarhota got the first goal for CB Hounslow United with a thunderous right footed strike through the Goal keepers hands and the second goal was from Keiron (The Power) Noel who beat two defenders and slotted the ball home around the keeper, Midfielder Daud Yashaya also made a massive contribution in the game linking up midfielder Leon Faulds and striker Rio Wilks who also came close to scoring after both players made fantastic runs supported by Yashaya but both chances were just wide. Midfielder Alfie Congerton also made a return to fitness after a suspected facture of his ankle and he put in a hardworking 20 minutes. CB Hounslow Uniteds Under 14's would like to thank QPR's Youth Management for the opportunity to play against the Youth Academy.
